The Maintenance Department is comprised of three employees responsible for the maintenance, repair, and renovation of 800,000+ square feet in 14 buildings. Maintenance responsibilities include installation, repair, general maintenance of air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, roads, and grounds at all facilities. The department strives to provide a safe, attractive, clean and healthy environment for learning and working. Pike County Schools Maintenance does 65% of all facilities upkeep without contracting external parties. Main 3rd party services revolve around HVAC, lawn care, and plumbing.
